Paleo Diet Shopping List

Paleo Diet Shopping ListPaleo Diet Shopping List

This is the Paleo Diet Shopping List that I use on a regular basis when I’m at the market or grocery store.  Feel free to print the shopping list up and take it with you so you don’t forget anything.  Keep the basics of the Paleo Diet Meal Plan in mind as you do your shopping… you’re going to be sticking with foods that were land, water or air animals as well as plants that game from nutrient rich soil.

That will get you started.  Maybe you don’t get everything on this Paleo Diet Shopping List at first, that’s ok.  Just pick the things that go along with your meal plan for the week.  Maybe you’re wanting to stuff some bell peppers with some delicious grass fed, organic ground beef… make sure you buy the ingredients you need for that meal.  I would always buy eggs, some beef and chicken and lots of vegetables and fruit.  You can’t go wrong and you’ll always have some great combinations.  If you need inspiration or help with your meal planning then pick out a Paleo Cookbook and jot down some meal ideas before you head to the store.  This will keep you on track.

A quick note about buying organic foods.  I know that it can be a little more expensive to buy these types of foods organically.  Overall, organic meat products have better nutritional properties than the unnatural, hormone injected varieties.  Same with organic vegetables and fruits that aren’t drenched in pesticides.  Now with that being said,  do the best you can on the budget you’re on.  You can maybe splurge a little more on the protein/meat side of things and just make sure to wash your fruits and veggies as thoroughly as possible.

Good luck on your next Paleo Diet Shopping spree.  Make sure to take the Paleo Diet Shopping List with you and enjoy planning a week of healthy eating!
